I’ve been the face behind the camera at Aww Snaps Photography since 2016. I grew up in Arizona and currently live in the Phoenix area with my husband and our 2 super cute, super crazy kiddos, Lucy and Rad. I love Disneyland, Parks and Rec, sugar cookies, Broadway musicals, and long naps. 

I come from an extremely crafty mother and a techie father who both have always encouraged me to create. Through photography I get to combine both of those passions they passed on to me. I took a few photography courses at BYU, where I got my Bachelor’s Degree in Family Relations and where I made my own “family relation” (I met my husband, Cory). After experiencing our own struggle with unexplained infertility I felt motivated to capture every little detail of my miracle babies. I quickly fell in love with newborn photography and meeting fellow parents, learning their stories and helping capture their memories. It is humbling and inspiring to be trusted to play a part in telling their unique family’s story.

In addition to the elective photography courses I took while at BYU, I am always  furthering my education via online courses including newborn safety.  I am humbled to have been published 6 times in photography magazines, and in 2020 I was chosen as a finalist in one of the largest worldwide photo competitions as voted by fellow photographers.
