I am thrilled to be releasing family mini sessions this year! If you’re new to the concept of mini sessions here’s the low down. Mini sessions (sometimes referred to as marathon sessions) are when multiple families are booked for photos at the same location at back-to-back time slots. Because of this I am able to offer them at a discounted rate of $150 compared to my regular packages. Mini sessions are shorter (20 minutes) and include 10 digital images of your choice selected from your online gallery. That makes minis a great option for families with small kids who might get overwhelmed by a full hour session or for families who only want a few updated photos for Christmas cards. Keep in mind, if it takes a while for your child to warm up to people, or if you’d like your own location, one of my other regular session packages may be a better fit.

This year I am offering 2 mini session date options at 2 different locations.

September 30th Sessions will be at Thunderbird Conservation park in Glendale, AZ. This is a deserty location but does not have many cactus, mostly small bushes and wide open spaces but has a beautiful golden hour. The location is fairly flat, close to a gravel parking lot, good for those who may not be able to walk far but still want to look like they are out in the middle of the desert.

On November 4th, I will be doing sessions at my favorite desert location in Cave Creek, AZ. This location is about a 2 minute walk along a flat dirt trail. I have have had clients take a stroller or use a walker on the trail with no issue but be aware there are many cholla cactus around so closed toe shoes are recommended as well as keeping a close ye on littles.

To reserve your slot, select the date on the calendar of the location you’re interested in to show available times. Select the time you want then submit the form. Full payment for your session is due within 24 hours of booking to complete your reservation and sessions are reserved on a first-paid-first-served basis. In other words, your slot is not marked ‘reserved’ until after full payment ($150) is received. Payment may be submitted through Zelle to awwsnapsphotography@gmail.com or Venmo to @awwsnapsphotography. If neither of those methods work for you, please reach out to me directly to discuss other options. Because of the discounted back-to-back nature of mini sessions your payment is nonrefundable, however if you need to cancel your session, you may use your payment towards the cost of a future session. In the rare chance that I need to cancel minis for any reason (such as weather), you will have the opportunity to either reschedule or receive a refund.
