I am SO excited to release family mini sessions this year! If you’re new to the concept of mini sessions here’s the low down. Mini sessions (sometimes referred to as marathon sessions) are when multiple families are booked for photos at the same location at back-to-back time slots. Because of this I am able to offer them at a discounted rate compared to my regular packages. Mini sessions are shorter (20 minutes) and include 10 digital images of your choice selected from your online gallery. That makes minis a great option for families with small kids who might get overwhelmed by a full hour session or for families who only want a few updated photos for Christmas cards. Keep in mind, if it takes a while for your child to warm up to people, or if you’d like your own location, one of my other regular session packages may be a better fit.

This year I am offering 3 mini session date options at 3 different locations.

October 1st will be at a beautiful sunflower field in Buckeye, AZ. This will be my first year doing sessions here. I had my own family photos taken there last year and fell in LOVE, so when the opportunity came to reserve a day for my own clients I had to jump at it. I do not recommend wearing heels to this location, it can be a little muddy/dusty to walk out to the shooting spot, but trust me, it is SO worth it. Also be mindful this location is not wheelchair or stroller accessible. Obviously, where there’s sunflowers, bees can be common. I haven’t heard of them causing a commotion here but those with bee allergies or phobias may want to choose elsewhere. Because this location charges a fee for photographers, these mini sessions will be $175.

On October 22nd, I will be doing sessions at my favorite desert location in Cave Creek, AZ. This location is about a minute walk along a flat dirt trail. I have have had clients take a stroller or use a walker on the trail with no issue but be aware there are many cholla around so closed toe shoes are recommended as well as keeping a close ye on littles. These will be $150. (SOLD OUT)

November 12th will be at a farmhouse location with a small orange orchard located in Glendale, AZ. There are sidewalks and gravel paths which make this a great location option for those with limited mobility. This location has a lot of variety of greenery and old buildings. If you’re looking for a “doesn’t look like Arizona” vibe or want to avoid making a long drive, this is the location for you. These are also $150

To reserve your slot, select the date on the calendar of the location you’re interested in to show available times. Select the time you want then submit the form. Full payment for your session is due within 24 hours of booking to complete your reservation and sessions are reserved on a first-paid-first-served basis. In other words, your slot is not marked ‘reserved’ until after full payment is received. Payment may be submitted through Zelle to awwsnapsphotography@gmail.com or Venmo to @awwsnapsphotography. If neither of those work for you, please reach out to me directly to discuss other options. Because of the discounted back-to-back nature of mini sessions your payment is nonrefundable, however if you need to cancel your session, you may use your payment towards the cost of a future session. In the rare chance that I need to cancel minis for any reason (such as weather), you will have the opportunity to either reschedule or receive a refund.
